FAQ?
-
Recording: I've always strived to make my recordings sound as life-like and as three-dimensional as possible. I choose studios, gear, and mics that allow me to capture a deep level of sonic detail
Mixing: Mixing is a million little decisions - it is the micro and macro all at once, the music is always the ultimate guide
Mastering: If a song is beautifully mixed, my mastering style is very transparent, to allow the song and the mix to make their statement. If a mix needs enhancement or correction, my approach will shift
Production: As a producer I let my musicianship guide me through the creation process, and the artist guide me to the results

During sessions I love to work quickly. I plan ahead, stay organized, and stay focused on the next musical steps. I cultivate a relaxed, productive, and positive atmosphere - good vibes lead to good music…
A great producer knows when to offer their insight, and when to remain quiet for the artist to work thought it
-
I’m super versatile, but my core genres would be modern pop, R&B/soul, acoustic jazz, singer-songwriter.
I do tons of work with live bands and acoustic instruments. Check my Credits page!

Yes I do, all the time!

Vocal sessions are the most common type of recording sessions that I do. I love to dial in a super clean vocal sound and watch the artist become inspired
I also love to produce vocalists in the studio; helping fine-tune lyrics, phrasing, diction, tone, pitch, performance, energy, mood, and vibe. I'm a master at editing, comping, and tuning vocals
I love recording with a collective of musicians playing together live, crafting their parts, and discovering the best approach to a song
-
I can transform a humble demo recording into a full song production, or I can take a simple concept and assemble a team of music creators to bring that vision to life
I play the drums and keys, and can build full productions in Ableton and Protools using my extensive sound libraries
I have a deep network of musicians, artists, producers, writers, and singers that I can call upon to add their sound and expertise to any given project

In a full mix, you'll send me ALL of the individual tracks in your production. In a stem mix, you'll condense your production down to 15 or fewer tracks and send me those
A stem mix is useful if you want to commit to much of the processing in your production and would just like me to polish it up. Stem mixes are more affordable than full mixes because they take me less time
-
I would mix your project as per normal while also teaching you about my methods as I work. Due to the teaching component, these mixes may take longer to complete and are available for an additional fee
-
You can reach out from the form above, telling me about your project and what you need.
I’ll usually respond within 24 hours to answer your questions, schedule a call for more details, or provide you with a quote

Yes. Before I became a producer & engineer, I was a touring & recording drummer. Drumming and groove is the cornerstone of how I hear music
I love to engineer my own drum sessions - it allows me to craft a customized drum sound for the project
I also love to program drums; the only limitation is my imagination
-
Mixing: sessions may be attended or unattended by the artist. If you and I are located in different cities, you may listen to a high-quality audio stream of my mixing work in real-time via a simple link to be a part of the process or to offer creative insight
Mastering: The majority of my mastering work is done remotely; many artists prefer to not be present for mastering sessions - this allows me to work freely and allows the artist to hear their song from a fresh perspective
Locations: I currently live in New York City, spend 2-3 months per year in Hawaii, and frequently visit Los Angeles. I have stellar communities and studio affiliations in all of these cities
-
I book sessions at a variety of different studios which range in their available space, pricepoints, equipment, and accomodations. After learning about the needs of a specific project I can help book the appropriate studio
-

I currently do my mixing and mastering at Cycle Studios which is located in Industry City, Brooklyn.
I mix in ProTools and my workflow combines a large array of software plugins as well as options for analogue summing, analogue compression, and analogue EQ options.
However, since 2025 my mix work has been entirely in the box
